What it's good for
No DevOps. No page builder. Just your files, live at your URL.
Build a page in your editor of choice, drop it into Cheldrop, and it's live at your domain in seconds. No hosting account to configure, no deploy pipeline to babysit. In fact, this page was published using Cheldrop and is hosted on Cloudflare.
This page is hosted this way.Got a side project, product experiment, or passion project that deserves a real URL — not a Google Doc or a Notion link? Cheldrop gives it a home on your domain in minutes, and keeps it there for as long as you want.
Interactive HTML prototypes, design previews, and digital assets don't get to shine in Dropbox or Google Drive. Cheldrop publishes them as live URLs — so clients see the real thing, in a browser, on your domain, not a garbled preview in a storage app.
Squarespace, Wix, Webflow — great for pages, not great for hosting PDFs at a clean URL or publishing files outside their system. Cheldrop fills that gap. Drop your PDF, spec sheet, or document and link to it from anywhere.
How it works
Connect once. Publish forever.
Connect your Cloudflare account in a few clicks. We'll walk you through it — it takes about two minutes and you only do it once.
Select your files — a PDF, a set of images, a markdown document, an HTML file. Cheldrop detects what you've added and formats it for the browser. Images become galleries. Markdown becomes clean pages.
Instantly create a subdomain on any domain in your Cloudflare account — on the fly, no DNS fiddling. Hit publish. Your files are live in seconds, at a URL you own.
What you get
Markdown, PDFs, images, plain text, mixed folders. Cheldrop detects and formats everything. Image collections become galleries. Markdown becomes clean, readable pages.
Every site lives at a URL you control — a subdomain on any domain in your Cloudflare account. Not a cheldrop.com/yourname link. Yours.
Your files run on Cloudflare's global edge network — Cloudflare Pages currently has a free tier that covers virtually any personal or freelance workload. You pay for Cheldrop. Hosting is on Cloudflare, and it's free with normal use.
Keep work-in-progress away from the open web with a simple site password — useful for sharing client previews or drafts without a login system. In the Business Class version. Note: this is basic access control, not enterprise security.
Download and publish your first site at no cost — no credit card, no time limit. Upgrade once for $49 when you need unlimited sites, password protection, and support for larger files.
Free is free. The $49 upgrade is a one-time purchase — not a plan, not a seat, not an invoice. Updates included for 12 months, discounted renewal after.

FAQ
Yes — and a free one works fine. Cheldrop connects to your existing account or you can create one at cloudflare.com in about two minutes.
Yes. Cheldrop publishes to Cloudflare Pages, which currently has a free tier that covers up to 500 sites and 20,000 files per deployment — more than enough for freelancers and small teams. You're not paying Cloudflare anything for hosting with normal use. The only cost is Cheldrop itself, and even that starts free.
No. Cheldrop handles the Cloudflare side — project creation, DNS configuration, deployment. You just need an account and an API token. We'll show you exactly how to get that set up; it takes about two minutes.
Tiiny.host and similar tools host your files on their infrastructure, at their domain. Dropbox and Google Drive sharing works for handing files to someone, but not for hosting things with public traffic — shared Drive links break, HTML/JS/CSS won't run, and the URL screams "temp link". With Cheldrop, everything lives on your own Cloudflare account at a subdomain you control. A real URL, on your domain, served from a global CDN — yours to keep whether or not Cheldrop exists tomorrow.
Any file type can be uploaded and hosted for download. Markdown, PDFs, images (JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, SVG), plain text, and HTML/CSS/JS sites are also rendered directly in the browser — Cheldrop wraps them into clean, readable pages automatically. Image sets become galleries. HTML files run as-is. More formats coming.
The free Coach tier of Cheldrop lets you publish one site — no credit card, no time limit. Password protection, support for larger files, and unlimited sites require the one-time $49 Business Class upgrade.
